A prancing horse, was first used on #Ferrari cars in 1923, as a request of the Countess Paolina, mother of Count Fransesco Baracca, who himself was an ace of the Italian Air Force and a national hero of WWI, who had a prancing horse emblem on the side of his planes. The Countess told Enzo that the logo would bring him good luck.
